The main difference between the designs of Jura E8 and Jura S8 lies in LCDs and technologies that follow each LCD. You have to use buttons or LCD touch to make settings, and there is the main difference between these models. If you own Jura E8, you’ll have to use the buttons placed around the LCD, since there is no touchscreen. On the other hand, the owners of the Jura S8 have all the convenience of using a touch LCD panel. Just by using a touch LCD, you can select the drink type as well as coffee strength and volume. Personally, I don’t care for the touchscreen so much, and to be completely honest, I prefer buttons in this case.
If you don’t care for the touch LCD panels, a color option could give a great advantage for Jura E8 comparing to S8. Unlike Jura S8 is offering only silver color, E8 comes in chrome or piano black. The most man could say, so what? The answer is, ask your wives, and find out… With the price these units are selling, it is important to fit your favorite coffee machine well. Don’t make a reckless decision.
Jura E8 Vs Jura S8 Features and Accessories
I want to note that both models have a built-in frother and grinder. These features are highly appreciated. These coffee machines are adjustable in detail. No matter if we are talking about Jura E8 or Jura S8, users can adjust the temperature, water quantity, water hardness, water flow, coffee spout height, and coffee strength.
Maintenance and cleaning are a breeze with both E8 and S8. Both units are equipped with self-cleaning systems, and all you have to do is cleaning from outside from time to time. A self-cleaning system includes some extra features such as automatic anti-calc, anti-scale, calc clean function.

Jura E8 works with ground coffee, it has more pre-installed and custom recipes, E8 uses an automatic cappuccino maker with a maximum cup height of 5.9 inches vs a semi-automatic cappuccino maker and a maximum cup height of 4.3 inches you’ll find in the E6 model. A flat White mode in E8 makes a classic cappuccino in one click, adding whipped milk to an espresso serving. E6 doesn’t have that or a similar function.
Unlike E6, the E8 has illumination of cups and filling sensor of the drops tray. If you won’t mind lacking those features, maybe you should go with Jura E6, because it is cheaper, and still looks almost identical to E8.
Jura Z6 Coffee Machine
Jura Z6 design matches the whole series design. If you’re familiar with Jura products, you won’t be surprised with Jura Z6. The app this coffee machine delivers is much the same as the app in other machines from this series.
This model is more than $1000 more than the previously reviewed coffee makers. However, it is a top-notch machine, and for those who don’t want any compromise. In size, it is just within an inch bigger and designed as a whole group of reviewed products from this post.
Jura Z6 has a polished aluminum frame, instead of the stainless steel its predecessor has.
If we talk about the price and focus exclusively on the super-automatic coffee machine itself, sure we can say that Jura Z6 is practically a bargain. For the best results, and top-notch quality, you’ll need to pay. The Jura Z6 is available in the United States, just like parts and accessories.
