For a few days already I’m wearing the Amazfit T Rex Pro and now it is time to write a review. Besides that, I’ll provide Amazfit T-Rex Pro pictures, giving you a realistic in-realtime design of this smartwatch.
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is one of the best out there and for sure a good buy. Only a few smartwatches boast 10ATM water resistance like T Rex Pro does. It also delivers support for over 100 workout modes. The 1.3-inch AMOLED has a resolution of 360×360 pixels and an always-on display, as well as an upgraded GPS module for better satellite tracking, improving accuracy, and reducing power consumption.
T-Rex Pro UI
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is a high-performance smartwatch that’s great for swimmers too. Like I said before, T-Rex Pro has more than 100 workout modes and an easy-to-read display. UI is intuitive and easy to navigate. Navigating through the UI is done by combining the touch screen and pressing buttons.
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro follows up on the popular Amazfit T-Rex and improves it by adding an HD display, more sensors, onboard music, and a new design. However, with all these additions, some useful features have been taken away from it. I think most will miss the third-party app support. T-Rex Pro works with a Zepp application.
If you’re looking for a T-Rex Pro review, and battery performance, here is the thing. Amazfit promises three weeks of battery life in normal mode. However, I don’t know how to achieve that unless you turn off all the features this watch has. I don’t like that option, and in my own opinion, after turning on the power saving mode, and turning OFF the always-on display this actually stops being a smartwatch. I use the watch with features turned ON, and the battery lasts for 5-6 days without worrying about turning it off unexpectedly. In other words, using its full potential, you should recharge the battery every 5-6 days. I find it a good result actually, considering all the sensors this watch has integrated.
T-Rex Pro AMOLED display
The T-Rex Pro has an AMOLED display. Not the best on the market, but good for the price you’ll pay this smartwatch. With this price tag, you can’t wish for a better display. For instance, you don’t get the highest resolution or pixel density. However, the oleophobic coating means it’s easy to swipe past notifications and pull up apps. I found that when I set my watch face to always-on display mode, the auto-brightness level made it easy to see outdoors even in bright conditions.
A feature I like is the torch lamp for extreme activity. Don’t use it really, but I can imagine an occasion for some people to use a torch lamp.
Amazfit T-Rex Pro short review
It’s not the lightest smartwatch and there. There are some compromises such as in activity tracking, and lacking features, first of all – blood pressure monitor. However, the high-contrast display looks great outdoors, battery life is solid and T-Rex Pro is quite affordable.

My watch is paired with a Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite. I believe it works with most of today’s Android devices, and iOS devices also. T-Rex Pro uses Bluetooth for pairing. The easy way to do it is by using the RQ code you’ll find on the smartwatch.
