One of the newest features in the Z6 is Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P.). This features specially made technology that pulses during the brewing cycle for espresso and specialty coffees to strengthen the flavor and intensity. Superautomatic delivers the best taste and flavor enjoyment.
Explanation: The Impressa Z6 employs JURA’s innovative Pulse Extraction Process brewing system. As opposed to a constant flow, water is pulsed through the grounds in short intervals that extract greater intensity and aroma while shortening the overall brew time. With P.E.P., espresso and ristretto can be prepared with greater clarity and flavor than ever before.
To fully enjoy drinks, Jura designed the Impressa Z6 super-automatic espresso machine to include great features like:
- three brew temperature
- three hot water temperature settings
- ten coffee strength settings
- ten milk temperature settings
It’s hard to find machines featuring milk temperature settings at all, that’s why I’m so impressed with a Z6. To get full-bodied espresso and decidedly thicker crema, the Impressa Z6 uses JURA’s proprietary Pulse Extraction Process. It works in a way to fire short pulses of water through the grounds during brewing, in order to get the most out of the extraction.
Texture-rich Aluminum Casing Machine
Jura Z6 has an updated milk temperature and milk foam temperature system that can now select the temperature up to 10 levels with level one being the coolest temperature. With this model, you’ll get an updated cleaning system, a feature I find worth mentioning. The Z6 comes with a kit full of goodies, including a handy container for cleaning. Use this container with the cleaning solution to rinse out the milk hoses and you’re ready to store away.
A front-facing screen combined with six side buttons or a dial in the top right corner gives you a nice feel and is easy to operate. Once you get a feel for the responsiveness of the dial, you’ll love this combo. The digital screen features pictures and labels for each drink and action and is incredibly intuitive to make selections. When you’re not spinning the wheel, the menu defaults to your six preprogrammed favorite drinks.
Just like other machines of this brand, Z6 is hygienic and conveniently cleans up after itself. The extra-large 2.4 L water tank has a handle for easy removal and it’s designed to work with an Intelligent Water Filter. A Smart Water Filter uses RFID technology to communicate with the control panel about its lifespan. It will alert you when it is time for cleaning. Using a filter ensures great-tasting coffee and reduces the need for descaling.
Intelligent Water Technology (I.W.T.) automatically recognizes the presence of water filters and accurately monitors their lifespan.
The Impressa Z6 automatically rinses on startup and keeps a reminder to clean the milk circuit on-screen when needed. All of the maintenance processes, such as brew group cleaning and descaling, will throw alerts as well and are easily accessed through the TFT display where they can be performed by pressing a button.
The Aroma G3 grinder uses steel burrs and six degrees of fineness to grind quickly, thanks to the perfected cutting angles that produce 60% less residual grounds. The result is a quieter grinder that preserves more of the flavor and aroma of the freshly ground beans while operating twice as fast. An integrated bypass dispenser allows for pre-ground coffee brewing.
Z6 Coffee Machine Automated Cleaning and Maintenance
It is easy to maintain the Juras Z6 machine. This unit comes with an integrated rinsing, cleaning, and descaling programs, and can be programmed with your particular water hardness for more accurate maintenance feedback.
Alerts are communicated via the big TFT display. You’ll know the machine status, and everything else just by looking into a large color display.
